Viewing different Algorithms

Viewing different Algorithms

To explore different algorithms, apart from NDVI, such as NDRE, PCD, Moisture (available under Pro accounts), follow the steps below.

Step 1: Navigate to the Layers Menu

To begin exploring NDRE and PCD layers:

  1. Log in to your DataFarming account via your preferred browser.
  2. Open your farm or field map from the dashboard.
  3. Locate the top navigation bar — you’ll see options like Farms, Fields, Layers, and I want to...
  4. Click on the “Layers” button — it’s typically highlighted or circled when active.

Tip: The “Layers” menu is your gateway to all spatial data overlays.

Step 2: Select NDRE or PCD from the Monitor Layers

Once you've opened the Layers menu, it's time to choose the specific data layer you want to view:

  1. In the Layers panel, look for the Monitor section.
  2. Under Std. Res. Imagery, you'll see a dropdown menu. Click it to reveal available vegetation indices.
  3. From the dropdown, select the desired indices.

Once selected, the map will update to display the chosen layer, overlaying your field with color-coded data that reflects vegetation health or plant density.
