I've added that to the article — here's the updated version:
How Organisations Work
Organisations allow businesses to manage their staff and farms in one place. Here is an overview of how organisations work on the platform.
Managing staff and farms
An organisation gives businesses a central space to manage their team members and the farms associated with them. Staff can be invited to join the organisation and assigned roles, making it easy to oversee who has access to what.
Admins control licensing and purchases
Organisation admins control who holds a Pro licence within the organisation. Admins are also responsible for managing who can purchase items on the platform, ensuring that spending is overseen at a business level rather than left to individual users.
Farms stay with the organisation
Any farm created within an organisation belongs to the organisation, not the individual who created it. This means that if a team member leaves, their farms remain in the organisation and are not lost.
Farm access is still controlled
Being a member of an organisation does not automatically grant access to all farms within it. Access to individual farms is managed separately through the Collaborator management feature, found under the share arrow on each farm. This allows you to control exactly who can view or work on each farm.
Transferring personal farms to an organisation
If a team member has farms on their personal account that belong to the business, these can be transferred into the organisation. This ensures all relevant farms are consolidated under the organisation rather than sitting on individual accounts.
