John Deere Operations Centre — Permissions Required to Pull Yield Data

To pull yield data from John Deere Operations Centre into DataFarming, your Operations Centre account needs the right level of access. If your yield data isn’t syncing, check which of the following applies to you.

Option 1: You have Manager or Admin access

If you are a Manager or Admin in the Operations Centre organisation, you have the permissions required to share data with connected software companies. No changes to your account are needed — follow the integration setup steps in DataFarming to connect.

Option 2: You are set up as a Partner

If you are set up as a Partner in Operations Centre (common for agronomists and consultants), you will need a Manager or Admin in the organisation to grant you the data sharing permission.

Contact whoever manages the Operations Centre account (typically the grower or farm manager) and ask them to:

  1. Log in to Operations Centre and go to Setup → Connections
  2. Open the DataFarming connection and click Manage
  3. Go to the member/partner list and select your user account
  4. Click Edit on your access settings
  5. Tick Share Organisation Data with Connected Software Companies
  6. Click Apply

Once the admin has saved those changes, return to DataFarming and complete the integration setup.

Still not working?

If you’ve confirmed your permissions are correct and yield data still isn’t coming through, check the following:

  • The correct season and fields are selected in Operations Centre
  • Yield data has been uploaded to Operations Centre from your harvester (via wireless transfer or manual upload)
